The Twelveth of June 2006.
On the surface it looked like any other day or the year.
But look beneath the surface and you'll unearth a plot.
While the rest of YJC year 1 students are busy in their preparations for the block tests, one class broke the trend.
Amist the hussle and bustle of JC life, Class 115 of YJC decided to take a break from it all.
An early booking(around april) sparked of the initial plan of the chalet.
Kudos' to Andria for her early foresight.
And when the time came, the class of 115 gathered at various places all of Singapore, to converge on the venue of the chalet.YCC, yatch club chalet.
While some were still on their way, the fire was already getting started.
And by the time everyone reached, the food was already cooking.
While cooking, some kind soul from the other chalet came over to offer us a whole lot of food.
They were from Church Of Christ, and they provided us with an insanely large amount of otah, some fish, chicken wings and drinks!!
Some of the girls went home 1st.
After filling our stomachs, we slacked for awhile before embarking on a night walk along the beach heading towards Changi Village.
And on our way there, we saw some male/females(I'm not sure what to call them).
But its was rather fun.
The fun part being people walking, rather than the walk itself.
Well, after our search for supper and coconuts ended in vain, we headed back to chalet.
Upon reaching, our natural slacking instinct took over, and we continued our slacking escapade.
While some played mahjong, some played card games such as brigde and 'dai ti'(is it right ?)
After that, the people all cramped into rooms to suffice their need for sleep.
And day1 was over.
In the morning, some guys and girls went down to the village to get some breakfast, while some others stayed behind to get some sleep.
Some who stayed behind had people buy back breakfast for them.
While some were still in their slumber, others left for home.
The next item for the day was a trip to downtown east for pool.
The third day was the check-out day.
And we went to long john silver at Tampines Mall for a sort of farewell lunch.
After that, we parted ways and headed back.
(check out all the pictures in the earlier posts)
All those who came for the Chalet!!
Thank you all for coming!!
